hmmm...why are there never any tips for black hair? you may consider adding a beauty contributor who knows a thing or two about more ethnic hair, make-up, etc.

I'm from the Baby Boomer generation. My natural light colored hair is getting very thin and fine. The present length is just past the bottom of my ear lobes. I would really like some good advise on a good style for me. Should I keep it real short, let it grow longer (my hair grows slow), should I get some kind of perm? I haven't been able to get any comments or suggestions on this. Whatever info I've found on-line isn't that helpful.

I tried mixed chicks because im mixed and nothing else works on my hair..Mixed CHicka was terrible! my natural shiny yet fuzzy waves went limp while a patch of my hair on the left side of my head just sticks out!!!!!! Its horrible and im still praying and washing this mess out my hair as we speak! So please PLEASE think twice about mixed chicks!

We could also use a suggestion if you have short hair. I feel like my hair has looked the same for years.

A lot of mall salons have a clearance rack with shampoos and conditioners, you must think out of the box. Produts are made for chemical treated and natural, having worked in one I found (redken, matrix rusk are very good for ethnic hair.
