And so
His heart has been laid bare
As she is pulled away
Out of reach from his fingertips
Only traces of her warmth and radiance remain
The sun that warms his heart
Has flown away
Into the distant horizon
To be left once again in the darkness
Wandering blind aimlessly
And she
Left with a lasting hug
Her body in his embrace
Her head on his shoulder
Not wanting to let go
And a kiss goodbye
The taste of her sweet succulent lips
Left upon his quivered lips
Behind a deluge of emotion
A torrent of tears held at bay
For her
A gift of two crimson roses
Led by dim candlelight
Two hearts traverse together
Into the dark unknown abyss
They part ways
Upon him cold creeps in
Over his shoulders
The chill caresses his cheek
Whispers to him
"She is gone"
Upon her
Rain showers down
Droplets upon her cheek
Cover the tears she has shed
From the romantic departure
But something endures
From the dim candlelight
A faint flame burns
Flickers within their hearts
Fueled by amorous affection
Bound by intertwined emotions
And a promise
Whispered into her ear
"I will see you again
I will hold you in my arms again
And I will love you
Always and forever"

Report AbuseOOOOH how romantic! Well, what happened next? Was the promise still kept? is the flame still burning between you and your 'chosen' one? Sometimes that "flame" is very difficult to keep ignited to the direction of what you would hope for when it comes to LOVE between one man and one woman....Good luck I wish you the best.
