Crafty mamas help their kids make...DIY moon sand

I've somehow managed to avoid this thing called "moon sand" from entering our home. Don't hate me.

But you? You should totally try this DIY moon sand project with your kids (insert wicked laugh). Outdoors. Away from any door leading into your home.

I kid, I kid.

We'll be making Skip to My Lou's DIY moon sand next week during a summer camp slump. The supply list is simple: corn starch, colored sand (I found this at Michaels) and water. And take note of the photos in the tutorial––it's really important to keep the moon sand contained to avoid a curse fest during clean up.
