There is a clip on tmz.com that shows Samuel L. Jackson
responding to a photographers comments about Barack
Obama. When the paparazzi asks if Samuel has any
words for the blacks who DIDN'T vote for Obama,
his response is: "Is there such a
thing?" This type of comment gives
credence to the notion that blacks voted for Obama simply
because he's black and don't care at all
about his qualifications. Which is fine if that's
how you roll; just admit it. Don't pretend that
you're making a vote for "change".

Obviously it's ok to be racist as long
as you're black. If a white person was making the
comments that many of these celebritie are making, it
would be considered a disgrace, politically incorrect, racist,
etc. If I said I was voting for McCain (or any other
white candidate) strictly because he was white, no one would think
I was courageous and liberal... they could want to lynch me as fast
as possible.
Why is the double standard
acceptable as long as all the hatred is aimed in the
white
direction?

I'm for equality for EVERYONE, but that
does mean EVERYONE. Don't vote for someone
because they're the same color as you are.. vote for them
because they're more qualified.
