Are any pop stars original anymore?

<img alt="Tim Mosenfelder and Andreas Rentz/Getty Images" title="Tim Mosenfelder and Andreas Rentz/Getty Images" src="http://a323.yahoofs.com/phugc/ZRJPLlBM8GCB/photos/53d1703eb3875b7edc522d4b20b6747a/mr_e0b81eb703bcd7.jpg?ug_____DB.prCRJw" align="left" height="400" width="363">This weekend we saw a video of Britney Spears performing at an award show (her first live routine since her last VMA disaster and joining Madonna on stage one night during her “Sticky &amp; Sweet” tour) and we couldn’t help but notice some wardrobe similarities. As Cher would say in “Clueless,” “Was that you going through my dirty laundry?” Is there any way this costume resemblance was a coincidence? <br><br>Next up, Christina Aguilera and budding star Lady Gaga, who emerged with a strikingly similar look to that of Xtina’s latest incarnation. From photo shoots and videos to blunt blonde bangs and space age stage outfits, their images are virtually interchangeable at this point. <br><br>Speaking of space age, everyone’s been freaking out over Beyonce’s latest futuristic robot look, complete with chrome glove. But where have we seen that before? Oh yes, fellow R&amp;B singer Rihanna. <br><img alt="Perez" title="Perez" src="http://a323.yahoofs.com/phugc/ZRJPLlBM8GCB/photos/aaa9f1e37ead1ca953e85760478e0464/mr_465751a78cef92.jpg?ug_____DMN4rkEly" align="left" height="322" width="400"><br><br>Also, we’d like to note that Perez Hilton, though we can’t stand his hating, has done an excellent job of documenting and pointing out these “borrowed” looks. We guess scrutiny can be entertaining at times. <br>&nbsp;[<a rel="nofollow" href="http://perezhilton.com/2008-11-27-taking-notes-from-madonna%20">Perez</a>][<a rel="nofollow" href="http://perezhilton.com/2008-11-11-just-sayin-10%20">Perez</a>][<a rel="nofollow" href="http://perezhilton.com/2008-11-26-lady-gaga-plays-it-diplomatically%20">Perez</a>]<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><img alt="Perez" title="Perez" src="http://a323.yahoofs.com/phugc/iYnmPEiDGCeA/photos/d6d51abc1288436f6edafa81a129069e/mr_9f3651a78cef92.jpg?ug_____DOairAzV7" align="left" height="400" width="396">

A bit of monkey see, monkey do? Perhaps they are running out of ideas, as well as hollywood remaking all movies, over and over and over and....well you get my point. LOL!

    I agree with Stormy Rider.....

Entertainment is recycled constantly. It does get sort of boring at times, however, I think it's done out of familiarity....strange, yet true.

No one is original. It's all this bubble gum corporate generated so called talent pushed down our throats. I haven't seen a good original band since the early 90's. I think of all the great acts that came out during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. These people today couldn't hold a candle to them. I mean the Jonas Brothers, Miley Sirus, Spears...give me a break!! They are good enough to bring the Rolling Stones a cup of water.

They all copy each other, and nothing is original anymore. Look at it this way... if there was real talent, then the costumes and "look at me antics" wouldn't be necessary. Just listening to someone sing would be enough.

    rowdy girl,

i agree with you on that which is why i mostly listen to the oldies and i can't stand to watch mtv with the recycled videos of big booty chicks running around with too much fake hair and the guys are always shirtless, most times with nothing to show for it but a bunch of nasty tattoos.

Is Madonna oblivious to the fact she is a joke? At one time she was innovative, now she's just lame. What brain dead person would pay good money to see this woman? There is nothing wrong with getting older!

Modonna should show a little more class(which has none of) and change her look.If Britney is dressing to look like her O.M.G.
