Actually I set a goal a couple of months ago and that was to lose 20 pounds in 30 days. I succeeded to lose 12 but gradually put back on 7 of it. So I failed. Time for a new goal. Today is the 3rd so I'm going to try to lose 20 pounds by the 30th and keep it off. I now weigh 267 lbs but I'm muscular. The waist needs the work.

Report AbuseYou didn't fail. If you are lifting weights you have to remember that muscles are dense and weigh more than fat. How do you feel? How are your clothes fitting (differently)? Your body needs fuel for good health. Not eating enough can backfire when you are trying to lose weight. Lean protein, slow burning carbs, lots of veggies and a few fruits (they have natural sugars so choose wisely). Stay consistent and don't let a plateau or one day of overindulging sabotage your mindset. Tell your body good things about it/what you like about. Keep your sights on your goal but don't forget to enjoy the journey.
