November is National Novel Writing Month - Sign up Now!

Have you always dreamed of writing a novel?

Apparently, November is National Novel Writing month, so if you are looking for a creative challenge, now is the time to step up to the plate.

A fellow Shiner named Jett told me about this web-site and I decided I would check it out:

http://www.nanowrimo.org/

The web-site is a purely for fun type of site that allows you to write your novel and track your number of words.  If you get to 50,000 words, you win!  What do you win?  Well, basically, it's a feeling of accomplishment.

The web-site suggests not trying to work on a novel that you have already started.  Rather, to start a novel in November and to plow through it with reckless abandon!  It's free to sign up and they only ask for a donation, if you would like to give one.  Basically, it's a community of people all working toward the same goal and it sounds really neat.

You have to sign up before the beginning of November, so don't wait.  I'm going to give it a try...  Maybe we can count our words together!

    Hey Sarah,

Thanks for coming by. I never looked at my Dark Lady as a map but now that you mention it she does resemble Europe doesn't she. LOL

And, to boot, she goes along with your About this Author "her face is a map of the world". Coincidence? Hope you have a wonderful night, dear.
