Report AbuseIn reply to Bibi's comment about Wen haircare, I've never tried it but I am a hairstylist. The reason most shampoos lather is because of sulfates. Wen doesnt lather because it is sulfate free. Sulfates are a type of detergent and if you have colored hair it will strip the color out and make it fade faster. Sulfates tend to be really harsh on the hair shaft and rough up the cuticle making it more prone to breakage and frizz. Using something sulfate free will still clean your hair but it wont damage it. A few recommendations for anyone looking for a sulfate free shampoo are anything in the Kenra Platinum line, anything in the Brocato line, Sexy Hair Organics, and Purology

Report AbuseMost of these are a little too expensive and I've never found anything by tresemme to work for me. Living in FL, the humidity is horrible for my hair and the products I'd like to try are out of my budget. Oh well... nice try for an article.

Report AbuseHey I've noticed a few people saying that products are too expensive or they want natural remedies. For anyone wanting to add shine and gold tones to natural or grey hair can brew a cup of chamomile tea(2 bags) let it cool while you rinse your hair with warm water. Pour the tea throughtout and comb thru. Do not rinse. After a few treatments there will be gold tones and this is also good for dandruff sufferers and psoriasis. Also consider grapeseed oil as a natural conditioner/de-frizzer. Use a small amount just out of the shower and work thru ends. Also good to apply to a nasty tangle to help work it out.
